Climate Change Trends and Area of Study in Nepal

In General, Climate Change Refers to variation of climate in long period of time in the particular region of the Earth or of the Earth as whole. According to Department of Hydrology and Meteorology annual temperature of Nepal is increasing by 0.004 degree centigrade/year. Nepal is a landlocked country within the boundary of  147,181 Sq. Km. It has low land as 60M to high peck of 8,848 M from mean sea level. Due to altitude variation it has sub tropical climate in the south and arctic climate in the North.
Study in climate change in Nepal do not have long history but in recent days National researchers as well as researchers from abroad have involved in the study of climate change  in Nepal. Most of the researchers have found to focus their study in mountain and glacier in the Himalayas of Nepal. Likewise effects of climate change in forest, water resources and wildlife in Nepal comes in priority of researcher.
